Job Summary And QualificationsThe Scheduler schedules new patients upon admission via telephone, in person, with referring MD office, or fax. The Scheduler also records necessary patient demographic information in the scheduling module. The scheduler also schedules & reschedules follow-up visits as approved and per therapists’ instructions. The scheduler will assist with insurance verification for therapy patients as instructed. The scheduler will assist with other administrative duties as instructed, including filling in for the Patient Access Representative as needed and assisting with department duties including by not limited to data entry, entering charges, ordering supplies, or filling in for Rehab Technician as needed.

What qualifications you will need:

• No Travel Required
• High School Graduate or GED
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT Coding in reference to pre-admission testing
• Must be able to interact professionally with Patients, Physician office staff, Clinical Staff, Registrations Staff
• 2 years experience Required Years of Experience
